Physical Development

Fine Motor: Fine motor skills are those abilities related to little movements of the hands and fingers. It is especially important to increase fine motor strength and coordination during the preschool years, as that is what will allow a child to successfully hold and direct a pencil as he or she learns to write. Fine motor skills are increased through many different types of activities, such as art and construction.

Gross Motor: In this program, gross motor abilities are primarily practiced through outdoor play. We will play outside every day- even in the Winter (of course, not when the weather is extreme)!
